AzureBio was set up in 2007 with the idea of applying existig and new drug stabilisation and delivery technologies and biomaterials to resolve real problems in human health.

Incorporation of drugs and vaccines in soluble matrices opens the way for the development of biomaterials aimed at delivering a drug or inducing a biological response. AzureBio is currently developing the following projects, all of which are based on the formulation of bioactives with biocompatible materials generally regarded as safe.

Injectable Needles: Purpose designed disposable devices aimed at the subcutaneous injection of drugs and vaccines in a format that avoids the need for recostitution, refrigeration or use of needles and syringes.

Bone Regeneration Matrices: Synthetic bone regeneration biomaterials with distinctive and novel characteristics of design that provide them with a better in vivo performance than current commercial materials available at the market.
