AzureBio was set up in 2007 with the idea of applying existig and new drug stabilisation and delivery technologies to resolve real problems in human health.

Incorporation of drugs and vaccines in soluble matrices opens the way for the development of biomaterials aimed at delivering a drug or inducing a biological response. AzureBio is currently developing the following projects, all of which are based on the formulation of bioactives with materials that are generally regarded as safe.

Injectable Needles: Purpose designed disposable devices aimed at the subcutaneous injection of drugs and vaccines.

Bone Regeneration Matrix: Synthetic bone regeneration matrix for alveolar reconstruction in periodontal surgery.
