Comparative clinical trials were initated in 2007 on periodontal bone regeneration. Preliminar data on five patients have demonstrated improved bone regeneration capacity of the experimental material over stantard bovine derived bone.

AzureBio is actively pursuing the development of its bone regeneration matrix to obtain CE mark and is looking to establish appropirate co-development and comercialisation partnerships.
