29 April 08: AZUREBIO licenses a bone regeneration material in Phase I from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. An exclusive license to bone regeneration matrices for use in periodontal disease developed by the group lead by Prof. Enrique Lopez Cabarcos. The matrix has demonstrated superior bone regeneration capacity in clinical trials in comparison with standard granular bovine bone.

18 February 08: AZUREBIO filed for two new patent applications. Patent aplications relate to novel injectable needle formulations and injectable needle injector devices.
